By road
From Maputo or through the Namaacha or Ressano Garcia border posts take EN1highway north.

By air
charter planes from Maputo or from the Northern provinces.

Entry visas
Travellers can obtain visas at the border posts of Chicualacuala, Giryondo and Pafuri.
