IGT – Supervision Board
- To supervise hotels and other establishments where tourist activities take place in order to ensure that the relevant legislation is enforced.
- To collaborate with the supervisory boards of other sectors whenever convenient to the prosecution of common objectives.
- To participate in the resolution of legal disputes.
- To apply sanctions for non-compliance of the legislation applicable to the sector.
- To investigate, analyse and advise on specific matters submitted to the board.
- To participate in the research and elaboration of legislation for the tourism sector.
