The cabinet of the Minister has the following functions:
- To organize the program of activities involving the Minister and Vice-Minister
- Provide secretarial, technical and administrative support and assistance to the Minister and Vice-Minister.
- To ensure the safekeeping and confidentiality of classified documentation.
- To guarantee the normal and efficient functioning of the internal services and render the necessary logistical assistance to the Minister and Vice Minister in the performance of their duties including ministerial and vice-ministerial visits.
- To maintain the necessary communication channels between Minister and Vice-Minister and the public and their relations with other entities.
