DRH – Department Of Human Resources

Functions:

  1. To guide, coordinate and control the management and administration of human resources in the sector in conformity with the established planning and regulations;
  2. To plan the management of human resources in the sector, in accordance with the governments regulations and guide lines;
  3. To draft proposals related to staff cadres in the sector in accordance with the established norms and procedures;
  4. To define norms regulating professional training and qualification;
  5. To formulate the training policy for the sector and draft training programs according to the established needs and priorities in line with the available resources;
  6. To advise on the hiring of foreign workers for the tourism sector;
  7. To propose the implementation of schools and centres for professional training, supervise their functioning and draft proposals for the training of specific professionals and the norms regulating this activity;
  8. To organise and manage the human resources data base for the sector;
  9. To guide and control the application of the legal norms by the local organs and subordinate institutions and ensure their correct operation;
  10. To analyse the need for technical assistance in the sector in order to improve the quality of the national workforce;
